Sex Offender Management Training

The Office of Sex Offender Management (OSOM) sponsors training on a variety of topics including risk assessment instruments, providing treatment in the community, to testifying in civil commitment trials.  Nationally recognized and statewide experts along with OSOM staff conduct these trainings for professionals who manage, supervise, treat or work with sex offenders.

When available, links to presentation material and/or videos of selected trainings will be listed in the resource section. The views of the presenters do not necessarily reflect those of DCJS or the State of New York.

The OSOM training calendar is also available.

If you would like to receive notifications of upcoming trainings, or have a topic area to suggest for training, please contact osom.training@dcjs.ny.gov
